A HEAT TRANSFER PRESS is a machine engineered to
imprint a design or graphic on a substrate, such as a t-shirt, with the application of heat and pressure for a preset period of time. While heat presses are often used to apply designs to fabrics,
specially designed presses can also be used to
imprint designs on mugs, plates, jigsaw puzzles, caps, and other products. It is the main instrument used in fast
fashion to create products quickly without a hassle, as many can be made in big companies' warehouses or from a third-party manufacturing plant.
SCREEN PRINTING is a printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer ink (or dye) onto a substrate, except in areas made
impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. A blade or squeegee is moved across the screen in a "flood stroke" to fill the open mesh apertures with ink, and a reverse stroke then causes the screen to touch the substrate momentarily along a line of contact. This causes the ink to wet the
substrate and be pulled out of the mesh apertures as the screen springs back after the blade has passed. One colour is printed at a time, so several screens can be used to produce a multi-coloured image or design.

Q: Is the product compatible with various fabric types?
A: Yes, this product is suitable for a wide variety of fabrics, including cotton, polyester, blends, nylon, and more.
Q: Is there a color limit?
A: Heat Transfer Press doesn’t have a color limit, allowing you to upload most images or artworks. However, for the best results, we recommend following our guidelines, including ensuring your image is at least 300 DPI.
Q: Trying to order but does not let me add to cart no matter what I do?
A: Make sure you have a image uploaded and you are clicking add to cart.
Q: Can the white background be removed?
A: Yes you should be able to remove the background by using our remove background feature.
Q: Can you specify your own measurements for the image For example if I want my printed image to be 11 x 95 your website automatically forces the measurement to 11 x 11?
A: No, you cannot specify your own measurements for the image; for example, if you want your printed image to be 11 x 95, our website automatically forces the measurement to 11 x 11 due to the aspect ratio of the uploaded image.
Q: I placed an order to you guys early this morning but I forgot to have the Logo for the shirt I also forgot to apply the discount you guys sent me. Do you have a Phone number where I can speak to someone about this before shipment takes place?

A: Yes these work great on can coolers/koozies.
Q: I have my design as a PDF file but it is not on a transparent background I need just the image printed with nothing around the outside as the image is going on a black t-shirt?
A: Did you try our remove background feature on the site? Another option is reaching out to screeninkapparel@gmai.com for more help.
Q: I'm trying to upload my image but it says (I need to upload a smaller image) Not sure what I am doing wrong?
A: Your image file size is too large for our system. You can try to go to a image size converter online to
reduce the size to be at or below 3mb.
Q: Is it ok to be used in the washer or dryer machine will it peel of fast?
A: We recommend cold cycles to prevent the peeling.
Q: I am getting a potential image quality error due to the size I want. How can I fix this so there is no issue and I can get the size I would like?
A: To fix this you would want to go to photoshop/canva and try to increase the size to your desired size. The potential image quality issue is for you to not get a blurry design that is why we show you it. In Photoshop, you can use the "Image Size" dialog
Q: Hi what extensions can I send my designs jpg cdr psd ai pdf for example and what colors do you
recommend cmyk or rgb?
A: You should be able to use all of those file types send your design. We recommend ai/pdf/psd so you can stretch it more without losing quality. We recommend cmyk.
Q: How do you take care of the HTP on the shirts once is applied?
A: We recommend the following: 1. Washing Instructions Wait Before Washing: Allow the HTP to set for at least 24 hours before washing the garment. Turn Inside Out: Always turn the shirt inside out before washing to protect the transfer from
Q: I made my designs on Canva and saved them as PNG I can't move them over because file sizes are to large I don't know what size I need to make them in order to be under 3MB Also if I save them as a JPG will the quality still be the same?
A: To lower the file size we recommend to reduce the dimensions of the image. We are currently working on allowing file sizes to be uploaded that are larger than 3mb.
Q: Im new at this I need transfer for adult tshirts but dont know how to order in inches the correct size?

Q: Can you send a sample for a dark shirt?
A: We will be providing free samples soon.
Q: Do you cut away the background?
A: If you do not want the background you can use our remove background feature. We will not necessarily cut it away.
Q: Can you use HTP on no woven shopper's tote bags?
A: You can use HTP on those items.
Q: Can you print my transfer all in white?

Q: I would like to know when I upload an image does it auto size it? If not, how to I make sure the image is actually the size that I need it to be? I tried uploading an image to 10 wide and it appears to only be like half of that when I view it in my cart?
A: It will size it to the dimensions of your image. You will have to decide if you want to increase or decrease the size depending on the size of the design you would like.
Q: What is the turnaround time?
A: We do our best to print orders as soon as possible. But it can be shipped out as soon as the same day before our cutoff time or it can be shipped out as late as 3 days after you ordered. Depending on the complications with the artwork.
Q: If I purchase an transfer and download a file - I can upload it for you to do a HTP transfer?
A: If you are implying that we will print out the file you send us as a dtf transfer then yes that is correct.
Q: When I upload an image, the sizing changes. For an image that's 7x1, its making it 7x8. For an image that 8.5x8.5, it's making it 8.5x11. Will the images be distorted? Why can't I keep proper proportions?
